Biggun here on the Medway today.Taking out possible buyer on boat later on,intend returning around HW...less drama :)

The lower reaches of Southampton Water was more like the Alderney Race last Thursday. Passing Universal Marina, we had 0.2 below the keel......just waiting to go aground, but we didn't. The Hamble was a torrent on the ebb, though we would never get to Swanwick!

Picked up the tide to take me to Portsmouth last week, as I turned into the entrance to Portsmouth harbour the tide was screaming out, a fair bit of extra revs was required to take me safely into the harbour

Paul I have seen 2m waves in that entrance on some states of tide, can be a very interesting entrance sometimes.

A very low tide, followed by a very high one on Hayling.
Fortunately, not high enough or low enough to affect FP, which is still on stilts in the car park.
