Lovely sunny day…had lunch at our favourite restaurant …some of the port is closed off because they are running the Olympic sailing trials…good day for it…nice and breezy…they are zipping along.

Today’s afternoon dog walk was a rugged headland overlooking the port of Toulon

If we there yesterday we would have seen the aircraft carrier coming out and assembling its strike group…as it was we saw two warships in the distance and this…which could be a submarine

The place is like one solid rock that has been mined for years and now is a mine museum…it’s a rugged and enjoyable walk

French Olympic Week is taking place there at the moment. It’s one of the big Olympic sailing regattas in the build up to the games this summer. Lots of those VSR ribs there
