To the tosspot in Pwllheli

Re: O-fenders

No no no - it'll have to be on its front side, otherwise it'll be the wrong way round...wont it?

so do you think someone rowed out or were they taken by a boat coming alongside, did anyone else lose anything.

Did you call the police, apparently there is a constable esp for the harbours of Porthmadog and Pwllheli, be interesting to know what he has/had to say.

Seems a lot of effort to clamber onboard a yacht on the piles to rob a few fenders, so guessing someone went alongside you and decided they were nicer than the ones they owned.

bastards.

Not neccesarily wilful theft.

The owner of a boat I used to race on once left it in Dartmouth after a family cruise. Asked me if I could go down there and bring it back for him. Found it lying between two buoys, rafted to another boat. Sailed it back to Hamble. Tied it up in the usual place. Went down the following weekend for a race. Owner asks, "Where did this mooring warp come from? It's not mine"

I lost an oar of the tender attached by weaver davits in Poole last week - reckon they also nicked a tender so they could have been headed your way about 5 days later............./forums/images/icons/smile.gif
