And for those who missed it this evening it will be repeated at 0315 on Friday morning and the second part at 0310 on Saturday morning. Maybe not in all areas though.

The 3 of them did no passage sailing, there was a delivery crew. All smoke and mirrors.

Like Top Gear, much of the action is scripted. No doubt their insurance company insisted on additional/delivery crew members, and the shadowing RIB. Produced for, and delivered, great entertainment.
Sailing is deadly serious..No laughing by order of club regs 12(b)(9c)
After the screening of this bunch in the upper Thames programme several Thames posters who also take themselves and there choosen hobby very seriously indeed, came and posted long detailed reasons as to why the programme had missed a golden opportunity to.................
Anyway had me and the missus rolling about. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I thought that it provided very enjoyable entertainment.
Need to sack the continuity person - when they were 'aground' - the head sail kept disappearing and reappearing - dependant on the shot. Also the main did similar in the heavy weather shots.
Loved the bit where they were trying to beat upwind of the barge - but the keel was still wound up!
Will need to organise the VCR for part 2, cos I'll be out.
Beautiful yacht - hard to believe that she is 45' or 49' LOA from the interior shots.
I could only take five minutes. Should have been called three millionaires get a few million dunces to pay for their holiday and massage their egos. Revolting.
I wish some of you would stop whinging. I read the book and enjoyed it and am really pi**ed that can't watch the program here. Some of you should be sentenced to watch a month of American none cable/sat crap /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
I thought it was good entertainment for the masses, boaty or not, and only promoted our interest. I may be wrong though...... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
