Well I don't know about you all but the weather and river have put a real damper on activities this year.

Therefore its time to blow away the cobwebs, get the engine up to WOT and take to the water.

I have decided to arrange a get togther at Maidenhead with a couple of other speedboats next Friday (25th). We are going to exercise the engines, the boats and hopefully get into the water and Ringo and Wakeboard. Might even break my 38knots record if the bends are not too tight and the water is quiet.

If any is interested in tagging along then PM me.

I understood that bit, just didn't understand why you thought that?

The rated speed for my boat is over 40knots so hoping to get it over 38knots on the GPS is a target. I know they never do the manufacturers rated speed but we can always try.

Will we be dlighted by one of your videos with proof? :D

Think the lack of boating and all the rain has made him "stir crazy" but if you made full use of the fast flowing current going downstream you may break your top speed (got me at it now!)

Well I think Martin did a great job setting this up, was a great fun day and one that I think we should do again. Thanks again Martin, nice to see James' boat out again :D:D
