I have never heard of anyone doing that, but I'm sure Tilley will tell you...

It is very helpful.
The difficulty is that abroad paraffin frequently has a wax additive.
This additive creates a build up of hard deposit that impairs the vapourisation process through clogging of the jet.
How does one overcome that ?
If one could get hold of them that is...
