John Webb reckoned he could almost have floated me straight into his yard rather than crane me in.
 
Great pic.

Many years ago I tied a RIB along side the "NO PARKING" sign and left it on double yellows while I went for a pint.

Minn, was that pint procured from the 'high tide' window of the pub?

For those that don't know the area, there's a window on the seaward side of the pub where one can reputedly buy drinks from their tender afloat on the Orwell. Never managed it myself, but I'm guessing Minn did.

Indeed, but I'd add Fred Webb to that list too. Mercifully Pin Mill seems to be resistant thus far to Second Home Syndrome that is well established in other parts of Suffolk.

I'd like to pretend that it was, but the truth is that we belayed the painter to the railings and the Mate scrambled ashore and into the bar!

We concluded that to use the window the tide needs to cover the outdoor drinking area.

Certainly add Fred Webb and indeed I think we can now add Gus at Kings'!
