Tide tables

A free app that will show tidal curves is Tide Prediction. No data connection required.

I’d be surprised if it can do the requested two or three months ahead though. The UKHO charge for that, so a free app would have to be very confident in its alternative revenue stream to take it on.

So, I use the Absolute Tides App for UK waters. What would be the equivalent for N. France/Continent, i.e. 12 months data and preferably tidal curves? OK with it being paid for.

Easytide is alive and well and still living at www.ukho.gov.uk/easytide as of 0942 today.

Not sure if I am using the correct terminology here. What I mean is this: for instance, at the Port Philip heads (Melbourne Australia) the current thru the heads starts flowing IN 3 hours before high water and reverses 3 hours after high water. The numbers are approximate and I know it because I am familiar with the area - but I don't know tide charts that would show me the exact status of the current. Why it is good to know? It can reach speed up to 6 knots and 5 m breakers are quite common with the stream flowing out. You really want to have your timing right there... Similar situation at Lake Entrance. That place killed about 130 people, most of which believed slack water coincides with high and low tide.
