does anyone have a good link they use for tide tables on the south coast I have looked but just seem to find 7 day forcasts and was looking at further ahead

If you check the tides precisely two weeks or even better four weeks before the specific dates required the predictions will be very close to those you require to know (+- hour), and any tide prediction is only at best +- 30 minutes accurate anyway. Tides turn on a virtual 28 day cycle and although longer term variations do occur, within several months you won't see that much variation on this principle.

The Hydrographic Office only give out 7 days ahead for free, sites that give out more either don't use HO data or have bought a licence and usually want you to pay to access the data.

Gives tides, Gate open and shut times for depth of draught required.
Links to every port in the adjacent coast of France, together with gate , sill, info.
Webcams
Link to Channel Light Vessel, wave heights etc etc..
Invaluable tool..
Had to pick up a boat in Carteret last weekend,
Click of a mouse, there it was, French time though..
There is a clause that says that predicted times may vary on most, Pressure wise..
It is a surprise to me that you can t seem to get more than a month ahead...

You could use the Reeve-Fowkes system for the South Coast, Thames Estuary, and Irish Sea; where everything is referenced from Cherbourg, and year ahead Cherbourg data is free on line.

Almanacs are great but tide times only in for that year. Does everyone get a new one EVERY year, things don't change that much!

Says that for the whole site but it's fine. I think it's the only free site you're gonna find more than 7 day predictions tbh. Might be wrong on that but I've never found one.
