Yes, and you so much wanted to be afloat without delay. 😁

Think of the price reduction you could negotiate, and that it's a tabula rasa on which you can layer your own exquisite tastes? :D
Awaiting confirmation but I really wanted two settees in the saloon and at least space for a wc up front…..all is not lost….yet😏…compared to the other craft the Gibsea 242 it’s difficult to compare……the wife will probably have an opinion😳……one reason the seller was not keen to show inside the cabin🙁

A man after Maurice Griffiths' heart!

Essential so that a couple of chaps can sprawl out of an evening, or while waiting a tide, smoking their pipes and occasionally exchanging manly thoughts on the progress and prospect of their voyage..
It was women who herald in bloody tables that fold down to make double beds……and hot water and fridges😂 the other boat in mind a Gibsea 242 manages a proper toilet and a table with settees eitherside and that’s French

Thanks,no something to picnic and plod about the rías🙂
It looks like 2 cylinders to me with the third pipe going to the injection pump.
It also looks like none standard paint colour to be Perkins paint but that could be a trick of the light. I have the smaller 2010 version as my generator engine. 450cc 2 cylinder 10hp. It's a great little engine. 27 years old. Parts are super cheap
