A brief update, after some days of fair weather allowed SMIT and other experts to assess the situation.
It seems that the worst risk, i.e. a major spill of fuel, while not yet ruled out completely, is reasonably under control.
Tanks are being emptied, and they are evaluating the best next steps to get rid of the wreck.
Though the first rumors point towards demolition on the spot.
One thing inspiring some confidence is the video below, where sea water looks pretty much business as usual - i.e. crystal clear, fingers crossed!
