thorneycroft query

i have a thorneycroft t90 35 hp. i have little knowledge of the engine. i have changed the oli and filter only so far. but on the back of the engine there is another cartridge type filter. whst is it for.

I'm no engineer so I cannot help directly, however I was informed the other day that ASAP Supplies know lots about Thornycroft and carry spares of older engines.

I have the T80 and the fuel filter is toward the back of the engine. This may help, think they are virtually the same lump.
