This years London show

Why don't we let Scotland do the Boat Show?
It could be at Invergordon.
And the English might make a day trip to Cullodon.

Well they would have decent scenery to enjoy however they might swamp the local chippy and need translators everywhere they went. Maybe arrange a few rig visits into the bargain break.

Absolutely agree with the sentiment that it helps rid the post Christmas blues. I find the January return to work is the toughest of all so I shall go to Excel.
If it is shrinking and fewer manufacturers exhibiting, perhaps we could return to the halcyon days of Earls Court?

The next big step after the Boat Show will be 2nd February, when we stick it up they English at yer Twickkers

May my optimism never diminish.

I shall see you at both ! Just secured tickets under the local ballot so I am officially the best husband in the world ( the Mrs is the rugby fan I just go and drink)

Ah, you'd have to walk on Match days anyway, and have a well watered front garden then;)

Ahh no we live on the "posh" side of the A316 so dont even notice match days! joking aside there is always free parking outside our house as well its a well kept secret...

Also rather handy for getting into town in fact I will be driving each and every day into ExCel this year as I cant face the tube..

And for those who still pine for a return to Earls Court.....

It ain't gonna happen, because it is being demolished to build houses....

And I am considering Dusseldorf as well.......

The sooner they demolish EC the better its a horrid venue that is well past its sell by date.

If you do come to Dusseldorf I wil be there from the Thursday, we are in hall 16D22 which is the Yachting World stand

Another vote for Excel. I hated Earls Court with a passion. Access, too hot, nowhere to sit. Most of the people I know who liked it did so because of the local restaurants which Excel doesn't have.

D'ye have a spare room? we could bring sleeping bags.....

you know what any other time I would say yes but its the wife's birthday present so filling a house full of guests may not go down too well!

Joking aside there have been a number of new hotels opened up in Twick and Teddington as in Prem Inns etc so if you are looking they may be worth a punt.

However a forum beer could be in order!
