Shotley Friday night via a trip up the Stour.
Ipswich Saturday night via Fox's jumble.
Back to the Deben on Sunday as the weather is not looking very pretty for Monday.

Leaving Fox's Friday early Friday am for the Deben, night or two at Ramsholt then up to Granary Yacht Harbour to our new berth. More than 8 months at Fox's, not bad for a planned 3 to 4 week stay . We came for a new engine, didn't need it but needed plenty else besides. Went for a look at the new berth today, realised how much we had missed the Deben.

Sailing with Annabelle (that's the boat's name not a new swmbo!) tomorrow - not sure if we'll be on Annabelle or Marmalade so look out for either. We'll be locking out of Shotley around 1030 ish

I miss the Deben too, and Margot is only a stone's throw away having a tidy up. Got to get cracking to get back on the water!!

A very quiet night at Ramsholt. George in fine fettle, shame not to see forumites but they'd passed on their regards via George. We'd forgotten how narrow the channel can be on the Deben at times, especially around Troublesome Reach. The approach into Granary was an easy one but we have a side onto tide berth. Great if it's flooding but it's going to be fun on the ebb. Always the option of the hammer head but it's going to be fun.

Golly this river is nice. Good to be back home.
