This weekend ……action!

This weekend off to the boat to measure up for new settee cushions and take measurements for moveablestep come tool box and moveable hatch to cover the forehatch and allow ventilation ,for mainly in the winter also run the outboard and flush it through before I forget how it’s done🙂
Soon be a moveable boat. :)

Thanks, owning a boat is just part of a tapestry of life, enjoying the planning ,now the doing meanwhile other things go on!
While it’s absolutely true that the majority of the time involves maintaining, cleaning, improving .....it’s not the most enjoyable time....in fact it can be hell. But just relaxing on the boat...even when tied up or on the hook...is extremely rewarding

Iam afraid Ihave to agree!Once the boats is clean and tidy a sense of peace reigns quite unlike a house being tidy …….workingtowards that hence making pattens for two new settees!

Whilst relaxing on board reflecting on all the completed jobs is usually accompanied by the commencement of an extension of the "to do" list. It never bl**dy ends!!!:)

There are far too many Rule 1s of boating, so I'll call this one Rule 379 of boating.

For every job one ticks off the To Do List, two more appear.
I can perhaps help with that?

Everything actually necessary to go sailing can be summarised on one side of A4.
Oh how one wishes 🤩

And with space at the end for the signing off : “Remove a chilled beer from the fridge”

Or in Wanseys case: And now test the new cushions 👍😎
