Why is it that every 5 years I put myself through the ordeal of replacing my DTI Boatmasters and YM Offshore commercial Licences.
I have had the (paid for) medical, filled in the forms, sent them off with cheques and passsport photo's, declared my "seatime" although the form never seems to ask me the correct questions about night passages, asked me for a declaration as to whether I think I've done enough to keep the licences up, when I have. Why is it that over the last 5 years, despite trawling, potting, taking anglers out, delivering yachts up to £275K, I am still sitting here sweating and wondering if they will send me back my revailadted licences for the next 5 years.
The suspense is killing me?
