Indeed, and your sterling efforts to try to please the grumbling minority are appreciated. I'm sure many of us realise that this free forum is a great asset, and represents a significant investment by IPC. I'm grateful for it, and perhaps others are too.

Rosa - as suggested - try hitting the Shift key with control and plus (+) pressed - the faint lettering will immediately become bolder, bigger and easier to read.
Most of the complaints are from people who don't know how to control a PC (that's why they're finding tablets are easier to read).

You might like one of the alternative formats which have been developed for older readers - look in the bottom corner of the page and you'll see a box which may say "vB4 Default Style". Click on that, and select "IPC Blue" or "IPC White".
