Has the Grauniad taken over MBY? My copy of this month's issue issue has got several misprinted pages with text cut off and photos misaligned. Did they do this especially to irritate me or has anybody else's issue got the same problems?

They found that some words were not in line with their editorial guidelines. Sadly the guidelines were not agreed to ( they are still "evolving" you understand) before it went to print.

The editor had signed of the proof, his boss said just fix it and don't cost me any money or you will suffer there same fate as MBM.

Editor said yes boss, and on the way back to his corner office updated his linked in profile on his mobile just in case.

Crisis meeting. Office junior comes up with the idea of calling the printers and asking them to feed a few sheets though the guillotine at the wrong angle.

Everyone laughs at him. Editor says it is a wonderful idea. Silence. Everyone else suddenly thinks it is a wonderful idea as well and starts nodding.

So now you know!

You can use it to cover the boot of the range rover so the new carpet does not get messed up.

And yes, clearly this morning I have some time on my hands!

being serious for a moment are you saying you have a duff copy? we have recently changed printers so very keen to understand whats wrong with it?

Being serious, yes I have a duff copy. Several pages are not aligned correctly such that photos that are supposed to go across both pages don't line up and worse, text has been cut off from the bottom of some pages

Mine only has photos of men in it. Well, there are some photos of boats too, but they are clearly just there as background.
Was that a photo of some bloke trying to flog burgees of the back of his boat in Fowey ?

My SWMBO saw the ad and immediately commented that those boats are for middle aged men who need p***s extensions and hair transplants or maybe it was the other way round
I still love 'em though

Mine's got a few iffy pages near the middle but kind-of readable. Only on the ST50 article does the print go off the page.
