this looks interesting, not sure if its fast enough though.

Last I heard he was making some new props
Geez, does he run a foundry?

Besides, didn't you possibly mean higher for the drives, rather than closer?
The only way I'm aware of for getting the drives closer is through staggered engines, but I very much doubt that he could do that in a Hunton 37.
At least, not without sacrificing the rear bench, which would be way OTT, imho.

Anyway, even if anyone capable of doing all that has my utmost respect, I'm not sure to see the point.
I mean, at the end of the day all the tricks you can think of can only bring marginal improvements, compared to the sheer power and light weight of petrol engines...
And I'd be curious to hear what sort of speed increase he achieved with that front wing alone, because I'm very skeptic that it can be relevant, even at 80mph - which ain't such a high speed, from an aerodynamic standpoint...

He did move the engines closer together and changed from D6 370's to D6 435's

When he had the D6 370's he did increase the power to 420hp,

Now with the 435's at present he has not increased the Hp yet, . HE has improved the engine bay ventilation to keep the inside temp within 5C of ambient , As Z1ppy has said he is a great bloke to chat too and has a passion for trying different things, Coming from a motorsport background as well he is looking at the aerodynamics and seeing what he can do to improve the way the boat goes, For Peter it a hobby to try new things and see what he can achieve,
The props were retired due to doing over 1000 hours

Understood, thanks. And as I said, respect.
I still don't get the point of moving the engines closer, though.
I mean, I perfectly understand the purpose, but assuming that Hunton already installs the engines as close as possible based on VP accessibility requirements (as any fast boatbuilder would do), any further repositioning is bound to be extremely limited, hence practically negligible - aside from making accessibility even worse...
