Only reasons they won't appear is that you had some sort of error while posting. Did you get a 'message posted, you will be returned to forum, or view message' type thing, or a time out message. If you got the usual message, then it should be there. If you didn't get message that post successful, then it's lost forever

It's another thing they never told you about when you were young. Like bad backs and snoring.
I get the same thing. Then I'll find the post later on in a different thread. I blame the software, but I know that it's me.

Are you sure you are submitting them - I found that I was previewing my posts by clicking on the "Continue" button and then not clicking on the "Ok, submit" button when the forum first changed. I still have to remind myself sometimes.

It\'s getting worse?

I seem to be losing all my posts. Where's my quetsion asking for advice on quitting smoking. I know it was there because I saw it and looked a couple of answers, but now it's disappeared - well at least to me it has.

Anyone know where I might find it?

I've checked the lounge and it ain't there either. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It's not just you - the whole smoking post has just disappeared totally. There were a lot of posts as well. Perhaps it got silly and was pulled.

Probably deleted as non boating, though it did get a large number of responses. Probably best to post such stuff in the lounge, then it won't get deleted

I don't understand - I just replied to this post but it didn't move to the top of the list it remained buried on page 2.

Have I got a setting wrong?

Problem with your setting. You need to go into your User Options, and set your options so that threads are shown by date of last post, not date of original post, then it will show at top of page.

I'm gonna go mad in a mo.

Went in and found that there was no check in either box,,, so checked post by last reply etc.
submittted it and when i get back the whole screen has changed colour. Go back in and find infopop is checked,,,uncheck it, submit it ,, back out and post has disappeared,, back in and theres no check in post box again.
It seems Kim won't let me have both it's either or?

Have I offended him!!!

There's a bug in user options. Everytime you change a setting, you lose the post by latest post option, so you need to tick that box everytime you change anything in that menu. Just get used to going to the latest post option and checking it everytime you make a change. I did tell Kim about it, but nothing done so far. I'll hit the notify moderator button on this, and hopefully it will go on bug list?
