Unfortunately, for me at least, the budget appears elastic. Not more than X, then you look at Y and mission creep sets in. Eventually you spend Y. SWMBO NOT happy.

@Wansworth why would you want to spend that amount of money on a very niche boat? Having read many of your millions of boat-search posts, I just don’t see the appeal. Calling it “blue water” is nothing more than an Arthur Daley sales trick to play to the ego of potential buyers. It’s small, cramped and claustrophobic.

Well there’s no chance I would be enviegled into buying that boat as I don’t have the cash,but it looks a nice set up.My leaning is more to a wheelhouse set up as much of my sailing would be static in port or at anchour.I doubt I will find anything remotely like that here in Galicia within my budget( the wife’s) Maybe as autumn grips boats will come on the market
