So was the work done over two days ?
To be honest I have no idea. On the broads many boat companies do loads of work at the various marinas and this firm is regularly at my marina. Hence he can skip from boat to boat.
For example the way he did the leg (not part of this bill) is he removes it to his workshop along with several others and when the weather is pants he works on the legs inside then takes it back and puts it back on.
The firm will have worked on more KAD 32's than I have had hot dinners and it is all very routine for them. All the checking he does was never even asked for but he says he always does it as it is the correct thing to do. Much of the checking I actually think he doesn't actually charge for.
It is a family run firm and I think they are very fair people with what I would call a good old Norfolk attitude.
I am from Suffolk and I know several people who do pieces of work for others and when asked how much the answer is very often..... Give us a tenner boy that will do me. It dont make you rich but it can make you feel very good...............which can be worth much more than money
