Shhhh! Sailpast is one of those events that give ammunition to those that believe Yacht Clubs are stuffy. Personally I don't favour them though the 'big eats' afterwards are a compensation.Love to come but Old Commodes Sailpast this weekend.Clearing the decks for the AGM and the next victim.

Yea we know.........but the last really good opportunity to take the mick out of this years commodore,who probably,rather than standing out in the cold and rain,would prefer to be somewhere else entirely.

Hopefully you should have plenty of mooring now most of the floating allotments have migrated. Ironically we are off to the Midi 10 days ferrying a friends Dutch Barge to Toulouse for them. Will be and interesting comparison.

The TWYC had their "Illuminated Sail Past" on Saturday night - in the dark so you couldn't see the fenders anyway!
Excellent show and glad to see the little Hardy - TUG - get a well deserved third place!
