thinners for Le Tokinoise varnish

What is/are the proper thinners for Le Tokinoise (aka "tung") varnish ?


I am slightly confused about the numbers/type.

They clearly recommend turps in their information sheet but this is not mentioned on the can for no 1 varnish

All I have here is pure turpentine. I think if it is made from Tung and Linseed, that would be ok.

How about just warming the tin up a bit in a pan of hot water?

Funny how there is no Petroleum in it yet you thin with White Spirit which is Petroleum based? White spirit is not the best thing for wood, when using oil. This is not just oil of course.
