My Labrador, before she was spayed, left the decks looking as if there had been a seal cull. Much to the amusement of neighbouring boats we resorted to buying her some doggie pants, with replaceable pads, from the local pet shop. Had to wrestle them on her the first time but they certainly improved the situation.

blobbing has stopped

and we have moved onto the next stage

Maggie is now convinced that she is the most alluring thing on four legs

every dog is regarded as a potential immorato

she has become an uber *****

the good news is that it will soon be over

the wind is still howling here

while you southern softies are luxuriating in 18 degrees and light winds

At least its a nice sunny evening in amongst all that wind

I see three more depressions out west before High pressure builds circa Saturday

17:00 UTC Tue 12th May – 16:59 UTC Wed 13th May

Wind
West veering northwest 5 to 7, occasionally gale 8 at first, then veering north or northeast, 4 or 5 later.

17:00 UTC Wed 13th May – 16:59 UTC Thu 14th May

Wind
North or northeast 4 or 5, decreasing 3 at times.
Issued at 17:00 UTC on Tuesday 12th May

you get used to thinking a 5 is fine up here or you'd never go out
