The Tennis - Lost Davis Cup match - to the Swedes.
Football - Lost World Cup match - to the Swedes.
Sailing - Now we lose a yacht race, after leading - same as the Davis Cup! To the Swedes!!!

Remember the British effort is intended to be a trial for challenges in future years. Winning was never expected and journalists should only 'cheer on' the home side in a discreet manner.
No nation has won America's Cup unless it made at least three successive attempts. The British have no hope: so get used to the idea.
Training it is and it is necessary.

Teak desks - Oh yes they do. I was rafted along side a Swedish boat a couple of winters ago, here in Ålesund (Norway). The boat we had to cross, had a highly varnished teak desk and with the combination of snow and ice on the curved deck it was impossible to stand up, let alone walk across it!
