You'll get that a lot from now on - till the end of March/early April.
We've always sailed year round.
One year we wintered in Shotley. Whenever I called the lock to ask for permission to lock out the lock was always ready for us.
One time, when in the process of locking out, I asked the lock keeper how come they were always ready for us.
His reply: very few people sail in Winter and usually I see your car drive up.

I used to sail on the Clyde, where she is a regular sight during the summer. I've even sailed on her!

Yes there was a classic picture a year or so back - the old steam paddle steamer sailing past the broken down new aircraft carrier. It was suggested the navy should invest in paddles and steam boilers.

Waverley does a "summer tour", Scotland, then maybe somewhere else, then Bristol channel (?), South Coast, Thames Estuary...
