Well spotted Mudkipper.There are a couple of boats with a greater draught than UFOREA. I have enough water to get in and out of the creek every two weeks around the time of springs and this suits my lifestyle well. I dont need to sail to enjoy the boat, just being onboard helps to chill out.
The club is a great place to be and has all the facilities that you would get in a Marina for a fraction of the cost, except of course water.

Well done Dylan. Have you been to Goole yet? I knew some fishing family folks from Hull that think it's a strange place. I'm not sure if that was at the same time my father-in-law was Harbour Master there - but that was 45 years ago. He did go on to be Harbour Master in some lovely West Coast places in Scotland as well. Looking forward to seeing your reports from there as well.

I have a 30 day license for the waterways - so I will use that when Jill can come sailing with me

Classy boat you have there. I seem to remember Hartley producing a quality standard of fit out. Too racy for me in my advancing years sadly.

as for when you meet another boat coming the other way

etiquette demands that the one with the shallowest draft gets out of the way

and as katie L draws 15 inches I give way to everyone - of course you can see a mast coming long before a hull appears around a corner

youtube has a programme that recognises the music

they then own the copyright and the revenue from the ads on the video page

they give a percentage to the music people and nowt to KTL

Call me selfish, call me antisocial, but I like an anchorage deserted. My spirits fall when coming into an anchorage and I can see a sea of masts. A bunch of boats spoil the view and scare away the wildlife. But then I suppose I'm doing the same!

Nice little creek Dylan. These little hidden gems scream to be explored......

lovely

birds, baby rabbits, nice blokes, showers, lekkie, good 3G, utterly peqceful and most of the boats are empty most of the time
