Such a sad story. Gets more difficult to watch each time I see it.

My Dad would wear collar, tie and sports jacket to work on his car in the garage. In the 1970s my grandfather wouldn't go outside to work in his garden without a collar and tie. I asked him why. He said 'Someone might see me'. Which I guess made perfect sense.
That must be the corollary to "It only hurts when I laugh"!Such a sad story. Gets more difficult to watch each time I see it.
I was watching a YouTube video today from the 60s on building sites, the guys pouring the concrete were in shirts and ties, the foreman had a trilby onI have pictures of my father dressed exactly like that whilst cruising our family boat in the sixties. It looks so odd now ...
Maybe it makes sense if you don't have to hitch up your trousers when you sit down to relieve the tension at the knees?folks walking about these days with jeans intentionally ripped apart. That I just don’t understand.
First logical explanation I've heard....Maybe it makes sense if you don't have to hitch up your trousers when you sit down to relieve the tension at the knees?
Only if they are tight enough to display your shapely legs. The rest of us just get a looser fit and less cold draughts.Maybe it makes sense if you don't have to hitch up your trousers when you sit down to relieve the tension at the knees?
