Yes, Portofino is a rip off. I paid 450 Euros per night for my 64 footer but,..... as a motoryacht owner, there is nothing like being with your yacht at Portofino, having a drink at the sunset, being one of the 16 only boats there that night makes you feel very privileged. I don't say that it should be done each time, but once you made it to there, it is worth staying there. Of course if you can find a place

A client of myn paid the same in Capri for 17 meters, so is not the most expensive in the World.
AFAIK its goes this order Capri, Porto Cervo, St.Tropez or Portofino 3rd.
Also fees are very transparent in Portofino as opposed to what they where a couple years ago in the beautiful Salina, where I paid only 120 EUROS for same size boat in early July.

In St Tropez I payd 180 euro iirc which is very readonable for 70ft and for the place, on each occasion it was fairly easy to get a berrh (no middleman) . Now with the online booking it is even more easy / transparant afaik
