Re: Bellissimo

Popular Plus? Thats a bit unfortunate. Ford used to produce a version of the Ford Escort called the Popular Plus, a poverty model with plastic seats in which a MW/LW radio was the last word in luxury. I know 'coz it was my first ever company car
Not sure what the bloke with the Happy Eater furniture is going to think of your purple sofa either
Does anyone bother about speccing up boats for resale at this value? Surely, they're like posh houses which are re-sold where the SWMBO rips out the kitchen and carpets, never mind the fact that they were only put in 6 months ago. Is that why posh boats are all timber inside rather than grp mouldings so the next owner can spend zillions on a refit?

You can see all the instruments from the helm position. In some pics it look like the big plotter/radar screens obsure the row of pods behind, but that's cuz I took the shot standing well behind the helm seat, I had to in order to fit everything into the frame (no wide angle lens). When you actually stand or sit at the helm station, you can see everything perfectly. It is a work of art, perfect in every way, this builders really know how to do it.

The only thing you cant see from the helm station is the warning panel on the port SIDE of the dash, the tall black panel. That's intended, this is an alarm panel to be seen as you walk around or come up from the saloon, all the wwarnings on this panel are repeated on the dashboard where the helmsman can see them

V Nice.....

Like the others I particularly like the engine room TV. Very handy for when it catches fire!

Good to see you've dyed your coat!

Prop looks a bit more substantial (same design) than the one you were making in my dream.

Sorry, nit picking out of envy, I suppose. Why is it that this particular boatbuilder can get this kind of ergonomic thing spot on when most of our home grown builders still produce pigs breakfasts. Is it just about money or do Italian designers actually go to sea in their boats

Re: Is that you signing the prop then?

that is me, but not signing the prop, actually sanding it down a bit in order to give Petem (see "very bad dream" thread) more nightmares

Re: V Nice.....

Now that I've had time for a proper look at the piccies i've a few more comments:-

1) What's that wet on the floor in Pic2. Didn't get overexcited did you?
2) Please move the telly to the foot of the bed (in the twin cabin) prior to my arrival.
3) What's the 'wop' flag for? cheeky buggers!

P.S. Any discount off the normal chrter rate for BB regulars?

Sex Eyeties and videotape!

Right, I get the picture; we get the boat for a week, you get $20,000 or Euro equivalent, and the skipper gets to watch us in every room! Won't even be able to slope of to the engine room for a kinky bonk with my mates missus 'cause you've got a camera in there!! Then after the hoilday's finished B1 puts the piccies on the web!

Very well presented B1, and Matt you have a surperb boat nicely designed, I do like the Helm set-up and cctv system.

One very lucky person.
