I spent some time filming the good gents of the Deben Trojan laying moorings on the Ore.
I thought it might be of some passing interest in the light of several threads on here about moorings
I understand that when the rings rust out they just leave the blocks on the bottom of the river. I assume the silt will cover them - or will it?
how many lie scatttered around our estuaries.

Interstingly one of the blokes lives on the Trojan for up to a month at a time - right up the front is what he calls a warm spot where he sets uup his bed - a big space but he shares it with two engines and has a massive four foot of headroom.
