With Thursday forecast to be a scorching day, the last of the year, and faced with a mid week day off I decided to make the most of the weather and take the boat out for the day. With an all female crew we set off in bikini's destination Stangate. Rochester Bridge mast down, back up no problem. Upon entering Stangate we were met by,,,,absolutely no-one, it was deserted.
So we anchored up (correctly raising our anchor ball) god help us we might be seen not doing things correctly....
Then spent a glorious 5 hours swimming, fishing, and even had a go at waterskiing, all the while sending our respective other half's picture messages of our fun. Sadly all good things come to an end and with reluctance we had to raise the anchor and plod back...
It's a good job I have an understanding husband who had to kill a few hours after work as the boat aka home wasn't back, my son wasn't quite so understanding!
