That surprises me, didn't think it would be visible over what looks like higher ground as the sun is still above the real horizon. Would the whole sun be green if the trees were not in the way?The green flash in Essex, near my abode. (Actually, that should have been Adobe).

The green Ray is the one that lights up the sky. Saw that near Cabo Spartel, Morocco.
