Jump onto my boat, now I,ll fix the stern gland and check out the oil weep from the bell housing between engine and gearbox which has just been replaced by the way! Cant be mutch wrong?Fire her up lift hatch oh no!.Exhaust water leak! The Ugly. Mobile goes, "What do you wan,t I,ve got oil coming out water coming in and grease all over my stern tube. "Cam you come out in John.s Aquastar (nice boats those ) were not sure if we,ve set off an EPIRB thigy|"Get on board and the EPIRB is the light on the lifebouy but radio operator didn,t know he had DSC and he,s just done aGMDSS course.Making the bleep bleep but luckily it was error alarm of some descrition, could have been realy Ugly. Anyway does anybody have experiance of porousTAMD30 crank seals and"Vetus type" reinforced rubber exhaust tube which mates to a plastic connector held by stainless exhaust clamps before it dissapears out the engine bay and the old question of how much drip if any stern gland wise The stern gland arragement has grease pot lube and is adjusted by one big threaded nut along the body of the sten gland not the common "two bolt" type I,m used to. Make My Day ,any help to make My Nimbus as nice as his Aquastar,
