Boat out of water having work done. Just jet washed off the purple guano off the deck with purple staining remaining. Anyone know the best unction for removing said purple shite stains?

I gave up waiting and had to resort to use scotchbright pad and gelcoat polish.

Sunlight eventually removes the stains once you have removed the lumps....we are plastered at the moment.....rain helps a lot too

I cleaned mine off last week using oxcalic acid ( two desert spoons in 500mls) mixed in hot water with a good dollop of washing up liquid, sprayed on with a pump action spray bottle, spread about with the sweeping brush. So the boat was all covered in suds, and hosed off with wifee's battery operated power washer from lidl. Used only about 3 buckets of fresh water, my decks were pretty dirty and some tools had been left on deck so I had some interesting shaped rust marks to remove..

Some of the seagulls around here are like bloody Albatrosses......but its not them that are the culprits, its the squadrons of Starlings.....gits

We used to get the berry staining every autumn, as you say it was always gone by the end of the winter.
