What an interesting book! Am about half way through and reckon that it will probably become my most-re-read-book. I can highly recommend opening up your wallets; also to let the moths escape you understand, and splashing out on a copy for yourself, especially if you're about to cross the Atlantic or something equally as challenging navigation wise.

Wish I was connected to the author/publisher so that he/they could donate a few beer tokens for the recommendation.

You're going to have plenty of time, methinks, to read and re-read The Barefoot Nav, with emphasis on pages 70 and 115, when that rat's nest box of electrickery goes titzup on you during the first electrical storm, and you find yourself - feet on table - drinking all the beers in the fridge before they get warm....

...but a seriously interesting and passage-entertaining book. Thanks for reminding me!
