I have just been given an GRP anchor to try out,
It looks very much like a spade, the only different I can see it very light and made out of GRP, pink in colour.
It's called a Grabna
, it weights 10 kg and it suitable for boats Up To 35 mts.
Reported to hold well in most surfaces, and will cut through grass and weed.
Made in China.
I will report back once I have tested it.

Does it float? That would help a lot if your windlass broke down.

I know a company that would sponsor you - they helped me out massively with my paper cup propeller designs - PATENTED before any of you back stabbers jump in !

I don't want an anchor that's suitable for boats up to 35m. Do they not make a smaller, lighter model? :D

Cool prop, is it a folding prop or feathering?

Firstly I should apologize for blatant profiteering on the forum and obviously thread drift, which I know causes consternation (no names mentioned) on certain anchor threads and I thrive to be popular so don't want to upset the moderators

But as you asked : The were designed to fold on contact with water - Exceptionally safe where there are swimmers or divers - these were on a Pacific 22 - but Im developing other models daily - a small deposit secures the next batch - now where did I put my scissors, this free advertising should see them flying off the stationery shelf .

I have a feeling some of the guys on here are not taken me seriously.
This is an NG anchor, and it all well after tests , it will be displayed at the next boat show.
The company have stated that the anchor will hold in winds over 70kts ,
There never a need for a tipping line or a windless, has the anchor has a remote contro air bag build in, and at a press of a button the bag Inflated and the anchor come to the surface on it own,
It also has a building camera that send photo to a screen on board so you can see if the anchor is setting.
There maybe time when the anchor will need some time to set, included in the price of £200 is a teasmaid so you have a nice cup of tea while waiting,
Anyone else interested in testing the anchor PM me, they are looking for more people to help.

Rope cutters are safe with these new props as they are PAPER cups - just remember the game Rock -Paper - rope - scissors - paper ALWAYS wins !

They fit S 130 AND the STI 130 too , these props are infectious every body's getting them !
