For those who are as much of a cheapskate as me, I've found a site where you can download Bowditch's 'The American Practical Navigator', 1995 edition.

It's at http://www.irbs.com/bowditch

There may be other PDF copies about on the web.

Career as a Pirate?

Thought I was one.
To be honest, I get deluged in treasure maps drawn by my 6 year-old daughter. All come fully equipped with a cross marking THE spot. Maybe I'll strike lucky one day.
