You can see some of the later styling DNA, both the 42 and the 49, they both have glued in glass in the saloon, blue hulls and the glued in large side windows of the after cabin , personally I prefer recessed oval porthole windows in the side of the aft cabin but its a matter of choice.
Some people like white hulls some like blue .
With a custom finished boat the owner gets what he ordered.
The owner of the 57 obviously likes white as you can see the 47 in the picture that is his old one.
The 47, 48 and 49 all have teak decks and teak on the cabin roof ahead of the saloon, the moulding which is GRP has a recess and the teak fits flush within it, personally I quite like it with a hand rail over the outer side edges of the coach roof.
I think its the roof over the aft deck, without it the
lines of the boat are broken.
Compare the 47 to the 48 with the roof,it makes the difference and
similar effect to the 57
Great boat and agree with Bandit about the side aft windows.
But I guess its no difference to the other manufactures using glass.
Well if you have the money its got to be a choice between this and a
Flemming!
If you were to use the drawn lines of a smaller boat and enlarge. It would simply move the stations apart and it would fair it all in to look lovely.. As do the web pictures..
If you then used these new dimensions to produce a new plug and mould. All would be fine..
But the thing is.. If you were just to stretch a smaller boat...
And I think that's where its fallen foul of the eye..
