The adventures of a CLB.

currently snuggled up in MDL Chatham.

Yep, it's true - with considerable assistance from Oldgit, escaped from the non tidal for a while to explore the Mudway.

Most excellent run downriver non stop from Tedders (seen off by TedLock) to Chatham about 8.5 hours averaged about 8.5 knots and used a frugal 70 litres or so of diesel.

Boat really is a little cracker ! Piccies later.

What's a CLB ?

CLB. Cute Little Boat. Noun.
Term referring to Hardy 27,dinghy or basically any boat smaller thans ones own . :):):)

"Nice to meet you earlier , you aren't how i expected you to be ! ;)"

Hi,Howard.
Nobody ever is :)

Planning the trip up above beyond Allington in morning, its all down to CLBs airdraft. Have volunteered to undo four bolts holding all his shiney stainless ironmongery on the roof but he is resisting, need forum support/blackmail please to overcome.

Used to do that trip a lot as a mate of my dads owned Gibraltar House (white house opposite Allington Marina) named like Malta Inn.
Every school half term used to go there including frostbite cruise in Feb.
Happy times.

Yeah chop his wotsits off just don't touch his new liferaft (very Happy1)

Hopefully some pictures from me today as we head up to Maidstone,B1 may well sort some pix eventually when he gets the hang of his camera.

The house opposite the marina is up for sale if you are in the market Apollo,@ £1.3M.
Would no doubt pass muster as a nice summer house for one of you lot,for as we all kno you are all minted up on the Thames. :).
