That\'s that for another season then!

Just handed in my instruction to the yard to haul the boat out; and look at the weather!
Right here's a resolution: this winter the mast is coming down for inspection and re-wiring, I'm going to finish scraping all the old antifouling off the hull, and next winter WE ARE STAYING IN!

[smug mode] We just completed work on the boat at the end of October, made the most of the warm weather to replace windows, antifoul etc. etc. Now back in the water having enjoyed not having to work in a cold, dark and wet boat yard over the winter and ready to make the most of the crisp winter sailing {/smug mode]

Yesterday was a superb sailing day - tried out my refurbished genoa 98% of all stitches renewed by hand and palm over the last 13 months.

Set a treat and that horrible bag has gone. Looking forwards to a lovely winter of sailing.

I often wonder why more people don't come out for a quick antifoul, anodes and straight back in again.
