I bought one of those Sleeper things which blow up and wrap under the stern to stop the waves slapping ..... SWMBO couldnt sleep so, when she saw one in the mags she insisted.

never been out of the bag ... she sleeps fairly soundly with the slapping now, (not from, from the waves), because she is delighted if we're not rolling like a pig.

I'm going to make one of those things that dampens the roll tomorrow. Apparently a 4 second roll is the optimum, (on the boat, not in the hay!).

Also bought her a Jabsco electric toilet conversion - what a bloody racket. If your on watch at night and somebody uses it, it's like a bloody foghorn going off - jumped out of my skin more than once. Same thing when she uses it when I'm asleep, (in bed, not on watch). Thing is, she's now quite happy using the pump loo when she remembers.

Got a few things I hope never to use, but are essential just in case.
