I took my boat to the yard in preparation for the lift out and leant it against the wall. At low tide I went to have a look at the hull and was amazed to see no fouling at all, apart from some slime and not very much of that! I normally find at least a bucketful of mussels and quite a lot of barnacles, as well as slime and some weed. I used the new cheapo Blakes antifouling for the first time this season. Thank you, Mr Blake. I shall be using your product again.

...and I thought you were going to say that the lack of growth had something to do with the Baby Blake you had fitted last winter!

We were very happy with this last year, so stuck it on again this year. So far looking good, worst of the summer growth behind us and only a thin layer of slim over the hull and some minor "bearding" round the water line. On the other hand the prop was getting crusty - but I'll not start that thread again.

Jeff.
