Thames Trip - Charts?

I'm planning a trip up to St Cath's from Lowestoft.

I have an Imray folder of charts down to the Essex coast. What is available from there to London?

I know I can try to figure this on the net, but what is the practical answer?

Imray c1 and Imray c2 will get you there.
Tillergirl on the east coast forum posts the notices to mariners weekly.

You must be using pound land ones
My raymarine goes all the way to teddington,and that's not as good as a previous garmin which amongst other things showed nearby supermarkets all the way up!

Two of the very best resources for visiting the Thames estuary are:

The PLAs Tidal Thames Reacreational Users Guide. Available to download, but also can be ordered as a waterproof helm-sized chartlet, for free from the PLA web site.

Not for navigation as such, but tells you pretty much everything you need to know about navigating up the Thames.

Also very useful, is to get the East Coast Pilot. Presumably useful for your own cruising ground anyway.

Apologies if stating the obvious, but do make sure you book into St Kats in advance - don't just turn up, you will likely be turned away!
