Oh yes, haven't you been following the news on how low the river is?

Whole river now on yellows with Grafton, Godstow, Culham, Shiplake, Temple and Shepperton on reds.

Several more locks now on Red including 8 above Oxford and Goring, Caversham, Marsh, Hambleden, Sunbury, and Molesey.

There was a BBC news item a few days ago which suggested that the unseasonably high rainfall would likely result in the current restrictions being lifted by the end of this month.

EA River Conditions notice at lunch time today:

River flows are increasing in the upper reaches. We are now displaying a few yellow caution stream increasing warning boards in the upper reaches. The weather outlook is for showers.

Yellow "Stream Increasing" boards are out from Iffley down to Clifton.
