I'm thinking of buying one of these with a 60 Yam 4 stroke to use on river Exe and Dart as an alternative to our RIB which uses far too much fuel. It's the carrying of petrol over bridges etc that's the issue! Has anyone ever used one, and if so, what did you think of it? Any feedback welcomed.

I owned a Ryds 475 which is very similar for almost 20 years, it had a Yamaha 50 four stroke and couldn't fault it, I would regularly go out for 20 - 30 mile trips without problem cruising at between 20-25 knots depending on sea state.
I like the idea of the self draining where you can hose it down when finished.
Only sold it as bought boat with accommodation, a friend bought it to keep on river Dart as he has house in Dartmouth and wanted somthing to leave on the river all summer.
