tell me your storys

hi,
I am after a easy to handle boat for a first timer,
well something with a powerfull engine to get me out of trouble should i need it ,
would like one day to take her across to france ,
A good livaboard with two double cabins ,
And two heads,
A solid built boat,
I like westerlys and moodys,
Any ideas,

there are so many to choose from. every boat ive bought i decided as soon as i laid eyes on it/them. the boat im selling in the winter is 30 feet and too small by the sounds of it but good luck. i allways found it quite exciting looking for boats.

hi anglo,
For a livaboard 30ft little to small im afraid but thanks anyway,
Its exciting looking for boats but i find ones i like and then i ask for vat reciepts, proof it has been looked after just basic proof to what they have told me ,they say yes i get all excited untill they phone me up and through a long talk about price ect and then me pushing for information they then admit what they forgot to mention or tell it doesnt have this or that document some of the boats i have seen have been not perfect but close enough for me to buy, also its costing a fortune staying at hotels ect and petrol i have been all the way to wales to have a look at 1 boat
I have learned 1 thing push for information and if i cant get it walk away so it is not that bad

at least winter time will mean there will be alot of boats for sale that are allready out of the water as a lot of owners sell their boats at the end of season.
what sort of size are you after..

hello again anglo,

33ft or over if it is a westerly,
or 36ft or over for a moody,
other boats i have seen which are 33ft are to small so i would say if they are not wide 36ft at least,
