Telescopic davits

Has anyone fitted these or had them fitted -I believe they might be made by osculati ,an Italian brand but maybe there are others? Davit fitting seems quite a technical topic but who might be able to fit?

Having looked at the Osculati site, these are not to my taste - the below-deck condom for preventing water intrusion is both clever and hideous.

You might consider Simpson's davits - my boat came equipped with the LSD75, and you can unmount and remove them with a single bolt. Plastimo offer a very similar design which is rated to a higher load, but I don't know if they offer the same facility.
