Teak towrail scew plugs - source?

If you don't fancy making your own [requires plug cutter, drill press, chunk of scrap teak] you can buy tapered ones from Robbins Timber Ltd, Bristol.

I think that a set of two plug cutters (fancy drill bits) from B&Q was £6. If you've only a slightly steady hand, you dond need a drill stand. Scrap teak, free, thus an infinite supply of plugs. Plus the sharp chisel to cut them off when tapped in the hole. Job done.

I've got a bag of them (teak). You can have them. I also have cutters and as I am mainly using iroko I have no need for the teak plugs.

Where in Central Scotland are you? I am quite near Knockhill.

PM me and I'll give you my address and phone number.
